Rights

Who cares about rights? It doesn't matter if you can do it -- what matters is if you should do it. Lately rights have donned a halo and masqueraded as our moral code. People wave their rights around like a sheriff's badge -- like a get-out-of-jail-free card -- like a government-issued license to sin. "I have the right to be drunk." "I have the right to divorce my wife." Who cares if you have the right? God's law vetoes man-made legislation. If you shouldn't do it, then ignore your superficial "right." If you should do it, then let no government stop you. Do what you must do, flee what you must flee; ignore what man says is legal.
