Are some sins worse than others? People have been expelled from church for committing adultery, so should I be expelled for having lustful thoughts? Jesus said that "anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Maybe all sins are equally wrong, but some require more severe punishments. I see sin like a Jenga puzzle; no matter if you take out the left, middle, or right piece, the tower still falls. By lusting I drop a glass vase from a three story building, and by committing adultery I drop it from ten stories. Either way the vase shatters.
